The basics
What is Christ Everywhere?
Christ Everywhere is a free app for everyday faith: the Bible in more than 90 translations, a verse each morning, a prayer wall, messages, events and one place your church, workplace group, campus ministry or family actually lives. It runs on the web at christeverywhere.app and as an app on iPhone and Android, with one account across all three.
How much does Christ Everywhere cost?
Nothing, and it will stay that way. Christ Everywhere is free, forever, for everyone: individuals and communities of any size, with no paid tiers, no ads, no per-member fees, and no compromise on the quality or variety of what is inside. So are ce.place, Koinonia and Ezra. It is built and run by a non-profit ministry and funded by prayer and giving.
Is Christ Everywhere available now?
Yes. Version 2.0.5 is live. Open christeverywhere.app in any browser, or install it from the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android).
Who is Christ Everywhere for?
Anyone who wants to keep faith going between Sundays. Individuals can read, listen and pray without joining anything. Churches, workplace fellowships, campus ministries, families and small groups can create a community, and each community gets its own public page at your-name.ce.place.
Do I need an account to use the Bible?
No. The Bible, the audio Bible, today's verse, the media library and every public community page are open without an account. Creating an account unlocks notes, highlights, reading plans, prayer, messages and joining a community.
Who makes Christ Everywhere?
Christ Everywhere is a non-profit Christian ministry based in Dallas, Texas, founded in 2024. It builds a family of free tools: the Christ Everywhere app, ce.place community pages, Koinonia church management, Ezra sermon preparation, and Harp for worship teams, which is coming soon.
What is in the app
Which Bible translations are included?
More than 90 translations across dozens of languages, including the ESV, NIV, NASB, NLT, KJV and Telugu, grouped by language and licence-checked. Every chapter can be read or listened to, and any translation can be downloaded for offline reading.
What Bible study tools are there?
Commentaries, cross-references, Strong's lexicon, word studies, topics and a Bible dictionary sit beside the text. Notes keep the passages with your points, so sermon notes and study notes live in one place, and you can share a note with your community. Reading plans work on your own or as a group, and YouVersion plans sync.
Can I take sermon notes or build a sermon outline?
Yes. A note holds as many passages as you need, each with the point made and a comment, so you can take sermon notes as you listen. Preachers use the same notes as outlines: collect the passages, order them the way the argument runs, export, and share the finished note with the congregation. Ezra, the free sermon preparation workspace for verified pastors, is there when you want the full study desk.
How does the prayer wall work?
You post a request to your community, a group or everyone, optionally anonymously, and people tap to say they prayed. When the prayer is answered you mark it, it becomes a praise report, and everyone who prayed is told. A request stays on the wall instead of scrolling away.
Can we hold meetings and video calls in the app?
Yes. Rooms are built-in video and voice calls that start from an event, a group, a message thread or an instant link, with screen sharing and a chat that stays after the call. Guests can join an event room with just a name. If you already use Zoom, Google Meet or Zoho, connect it once and the app creates the meeting for you.
Does it keep meeting notes and decisions?
Yes. A recurring meeting gets its own series page with an agenda, shared notes, action items, decisions, a prayer list, attendance and a recap for every past session.
Does Christ Everywhere work with WhatsApp?
Yes. Link a personal or community WhatsApp by scanning a code, then read and reply to WhatsApp groups from inside the app, including voice notes, media and reactions. You can also route chosen notifications to WhatsApp.
Can a church livestream from the app?
Yes. The iPhone and Android apps stream straight to your community's YouTube channel from the phone, and the event page carries the live stream for everyone watching in the app.
What is ce.place?
ce.place gives every community on Christ Everywhere a free public page on the web at your-name.ce.place. It is built from blocks such as service times, this week's events, the prayer wall, sermons, give, about and photos, and it can assemble itself from a few questions. Visitors read, RSVP, pray and give in a browser without installing anything.
How does giving work?
Money never passes through the app. The Give page sends people to your community's own giving page, such as Koinonia, Zeffy or Givebutter, so 100 percent of every gift goes to you.
What languages does the app support?
The interface is available in 21 languages, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Urdu and Hebrew, and content can be translated on demand. The Bible itself is available in more than 90 translations.
For leaders
How do I bring my church or group onto Christ Everywhere?
Create a community in the app, or ask us to set it up with you. The Bring your community page on this site collects a few details, and we set up the community, help bring your members across, and walk your leaders through it, free of charge.
What tools do community leaders get?
Owner, admin and leader roles with a permission matrix, groups and sub-groups with privacy tiers, invite links, a member directory, events with RSVP, QR check-in and attendance export, host broadcasts, a moderation queue, leader analytics, and a public ce.place page with its own QR code.
Can a community be private?
Yes. A community marked private is not listed anywhere. Someone who opens the link sees only enough to recognise it and a way to ask to join, and each member chooses what the directory shows about them.
Does it replace our church management software?
It can work alongside it. Koinonia, the free church management tool in the same family, handles members, contributions and reporting, and links to your Christ Everywhere community. Giving and records stay there or in the tools you already use.
Safety, privacy and support
How is content moderated?
Everyone affirms the statement of faith and a community covenant before an account exists. Any post, prayer or comment can be reported; an automatic pre-screen runs first and then a person decides. Community leaders have their own review queue, and the ministry runs a full moderation console.
How are children protected?
There is an age gate, parental consent for minors, restrictions on what minors can do and see, and a consent record parents can revoke at any time.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We do not sell personal data, rent member lists or run advertising. Data is shared only with the services needed to run the app, when the law requires it, or with your consent. The privacy policy at christeverywhere.org/privacy has the detail.
How do I delete my account and data?
From Settings in the app, or by emailing contact@christeverywhere.org from your account address. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification and includes connected WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram data. See christeverywhere.org/data-deletion.
How do I sign in?
With email, a phone code, Google, Apple, Facebook or YouVersion. Two-factor by SMS is optional. If you forget your password, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to get a reset link by email.
How do I get help?
Email contact@christeverywhere.org or call 469-238-2555 (Dallas, Texas). The help centre at christeverywhere.org/help has step-by-step guides for every part of the app, and there is a feedback widget inside the app.
